Originally a two man show the Hendry left for the other side of the pond. Blackman was recuited and started a whole movement of powerful snazzy dressing characters.

Using unique design flairs the programme looked to have a budget hugely greater than it had and eccentricity in the plots seems to have been activitely encouraged. Needless to say it was a major hit with a succession of leading ladies.
