PG Tips Trick Cards

This is a unique pack of playing cards has turns you - very simply - into (a) a magician and (h) an ace card-player! Here's how-

  1. Clever Reverse Printing
    The reverse of she cards are printed in a secret way that only you need so know: the sop right hand corner of the card reveals its suit - e.g. if a hears is printed in the sop right hand corner of the reverse of the card you know is will he a heart card. Feel The Pulse

The Performance

  1. Shuffle the deck and ask a volunteer to cut it.
  2. Tell the audience that you need to get rid of 2 cards to that the pack c be dealt into 5 equal pilot.
  3. Ask the volunteer to remove 2 of the cards; Ace and Queen of Spades. When each is removed - the volunteer should cur the deck and complete the cur.
  4. After both cards have been removed - ask the volunteer to deal our the remaining SO cards into S piles face-down.
  5. Taking each pile in rum - place two fingers on the top as if raking a pulse; shut your eyes in concentration and announce that the top card is e.g. King of Clubs - which is then revealed to prove the case.
  6. Repeat the process with the other 4pilea - each time correctly identifying the top card

Preparation

  1. Stack the bottom of the deck with S cards whose values and order you have memorised - plus - at the very bottom - the Queen of Spades
  2. As you shuffle - keep these cards at the bottom
  3. When the volunteer has completed the cur when removing the Queen - the S memorised cards will again be at the bottom of the pack - These S cards are those that will be dealt outlast and hence will bean the top of the S piles.

The Performance

  1. Shuffle the deck and ask one or two volunteers tuba likewise
  2. While others are shuffling - writes prediction on apiece of paper - fold it twice and pass it to someone instructing not so open and read is.
  3. Ask she volunteer to deal out the shuffled deck in pairs - if 2 red cards are turned up - they should go on one pile; 2 black cards on another; mis-marched pairs should be discarded.
  4. When all she deck has been turned up - ask him so total up she number of cards in she red and black piles.
  5. Ask she person with she piece of paper so read our his prediction: "You will have 2 more red cards than you have black".
  6. The volunteer should confirm that this is true.

Preparation

Simply remove any 2 black cards from she beck before starting! If anyone cared so think about this it would be obvious as otherwise there should be equal quantities of red and black cards in she piles. The audience will - however - hero involved in she process of pairing and discarding - that together with your partner will nor think of doing any simple mental arithmetic!
